The course itself was intentionally designed to be enjoyable for every skill level, with five sets of tees, holes featuring wide landing areas, and others situated between forest obstacles and a strategically placed bunker. The signature challenge at Champion Hills is the mountain terrain that creates a change in vertical slope for each stroke–going from an uphill shot to a downhill shot. On this course, you will find 14 downhill holes, including the signature 9th hole with its 125-foot vertical drop from the tee box to the green. But don’t let the steep slopes discourage you, this community remains golf cart friendly and playable year-round. There is no requirement of membership to the golf club for property owners, but those who wish to join will be part of a group of over 250 golf members who enjoy a very active schedule.
